HR / Marketing Director
The law firm of Lukins & Annis is searching for a Human Resources & Marketing Director. This position requires an individual with the ability to effectively develop positive relationships with attorneys and staff to maximize productivity and retention. Direct involvement with performance reviews, disciplinary actions, hiring and terminations is an important part of this position. The HR Director helps to develop and implement firm policies and procedures. A successful HR Director must have a working knowledge of, and ensure compliance with, relevant federal, state and local laws. The HR Director assists with oversight and application of the firm's benefits and compensation structure. This position works closely with the firm's Marketing Committee to coordinate public relations, advertising, client and business development events, charitable contributions and sponsorships, as well as other administrative duties in relation to the firm's marketing efforts.
Qualified candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, an understanding of relevant employment laws, and a demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations issues. Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business or related field with a minimum of three years generalist experience in Human Resources, or equivalent experience, is necessary. Experience as a legal assistant supporting Human Resource litigation may substitute for education.
